Downtown Martinsburg
One of the most popular traditions of the festival weekend is gathering with family and friends for the Grand Feature Parade! Make plans to join us for a spectacular afternoon event! Bring your comfy seat and blankets and find a great spot to sit along the parade route in downtown Martinsburg to enjoy the 45th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Grand Feature Parade. Five large divisions lead by high school bands from around the four-state region provide the excitement necessary to keep our feet tapping and our hands clapping. One of the highlight’s is seeing Queen Pomona and her Court’s Float.
The parade will kick off promptly at 1:00pm, winding its way through the autumn foliage on West King Street, turning right on North Queen Street, south to its finish near Martinsburg High School.
This year’s parade promises to be a memorable one as the units have been challenged to use the theme of “I LOVE A PARADE”. We can’t wait to see the creativity of the floats, marching units and cars that participate in this grand event.

So whether you like the marching bands, majorettes or dance troupes, fire trucks, floats, antique cars, or just the excitement of it all, this year’s 45th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Grand Feature Parade promises to be the best yet! Come early and watch as the Bob Baronner Apple Trample 5k winds through the parade route ahead of the parade starting at 10:30am.
NOTE: WE CAN'T GUARANTEE PLACEMENT REQUESTS
WILL BE GRANTED. . . everyone can't be in Division 1!
